Summary: Lt. Worf is removed from active duty after a severe injury leaves him paralyzed from the waist down. Although a neuro-geneticist is called in to examine Worf, Dr. Crusher believes the paralysis will be permanent. Convinced that no Klingon should live as an object of pity or shame, Worf asks Riker to assist in his ceremonial suicide. Against Dr. Crusher's wishes, the neuro-geneticist tells Worf about a dangerous experimental surgery...
